Shorewood 408

The experience with Hilton Head Rentals was very pleasant. The company is easy to work with and has easy "check in/check out" procedures. We arrived on the island early and they were repsonsive to us and let us know promplty when the condo was ready after cleaning. It looked and smelled very clean and was adequately supplied with necessary starter items. I will book with Hilton Head Rentals again.

The condo itself is nice and updated to a modern look. The furniture is comfortable and about average. The kitchen layout is superb with the island and beautiful cabinetry. The televisions worked flawlessly with easy to understand remote usage. Wifi was fast and flawless. This condo is very, very nice.

The only drawback on this condo is that all the appliances are lacking. They look very nice (stainless), but operationally they are well below standard. The clothes washer is inefficient and does not clean well. The oven is VERY slow to heat. You have to wait nearly 30 minutes to get it to 425 degrees. The stove top knob indicators are rubbing off so it's difficult to read. The dishwasher is almost unusable; very inefficient and the soap dispenser compartment will not dispense the soap tab properly. We ended up handwashing everything. The refrigerator is mostly good. The drawback to it is that it makes only a few cubes of ice on each cycle.

We appreciate your observations and feedback on the functionality of the appliances, and we have taken corrective action in light of your concerns. The dish and clothes washers both have been serviced to optimize their function in the future. We are replacing the worn cooktop knobs. The oven was assessed and is actually running within specifications. Apparently with an electric oven that has a hidden baking element under the oven floor, it is normal for it to take up to 45 minutes to preheat to 450°. That ours took 25 min to reach 425° was considered quite good by the appliance repair professional. Since the in-door nugget ice maker has inherent limitations, we have added standard ice cube trays to the large ice storage bin in the freezer. This condo was really nice and the views of the ocean from the balcony were spectacular. The bedrooms were both nice sized and very comfortable. The kitchen and living area was spacious and also comfortable. The community itself is in a great area. Very close to shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again. The leasing agents were very accessible and accomadating.

Can't say enough good things about this place. There's the view...awesome. The balcony and it's comfortable. On a very cool morning, I even took blankets out with me about 4:00 a.m. and slept bundled up to the sounfmd if the waves on a very comfy couch (we called it the 3rd bedroom! We had a couple hiccups that were promptly taken care of by management. Our only issue was that the elevators weren't working. Steps are a challenge for me due to a foot injury, but we made it through. This wasn't a management issue, but a heads-up would have changed the way we packed and made loading-unloading easier. We would certainly stay again. The location by coligny is ideal for us.

This was our second trip to Shorewood 408 and we'll be back for a 3rd next year. The unit is well appointed and has a beautiful beachfront view. The Shorewood complex is well maintained and very conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants and shops.
This year we were inconvenienced by the replacement of the elevator but Hilton Head Rentals was very accommodating and the condo owners were standup folks by providing a discount for the inconvenience. Two thumbs up for this unit.

The condo was as described and looked exactly like the photos. There was plenty of room for our party of 4 adults. Comfortable furniture and furnishings. We especially enjoyed the deck for morning coffee and evening cocktails. The pool and hot tub were lovely as well. Walking distance to Coligny Plaza shopping. The HH Rental team was immediately responsive when we needed assistance with a minor issue. We would definitely stay here again.

Thank you for sharing your great condo! The balcony view was beautiful and a great way to start each morning with a cup of coffee before the day started. The easy walk to the beach was so nice. Our boys loved the pool and hot tub. We were there until closing until each night with their friends they made during our stay.

Great spot. Very accurate listing. Kid friendly pool and beach was easy to get to. Could use some bath mats and some new non stick cookware, but other than that its a homerun! Can easily walk to many places to shop/eat/get dessert.

It was great to be close to my grandchildren since they live in Bluffton! I love being able to see the water! It was a great place Thank you! The only thing was they were working in the condo above and starting in the morning. I understand thou since it is off season.
